So I've been absolutely loving this new choker trend that's been killing it recently. They are a perfect way to spice up an outfit (totally referencing the 90's girl band who rocked their fair share of chokers in their time). In this post I will be showing you a few ways I've been wearing chokers recently as well as a few DIY's to show you how to make your own super cheap and versatile chokers.
Leather Tie Choker/ Layering Chokers
One of my favourite styles of choker is the black cord tie style that you can buy for like $500 or make yourself for $1 (which is what I did (check out etsy for cheap black cord) ). These are great because you can tie them how ever you want. To add some extra jazz to the outfit I layered another choker on top. Another way I'm loving to tie this choker is into a bow which will feature in an upcoming blog post so stayyyy tune baby. Also check out my insta for more @whowillcall
Chain Necklace Choker
This choker is super chic and simple. I love to wear this with a simple slip dress or top, keeps with the 90's vibe but also has the modern minimalist feel.
Sooooo I made my own by taking an old chain I had lying around....
And tying it in a knot so it sits close to my neck to form a choker.
And voila... a super chic choker you can wear all dayy every dayyyyy
Buckle Choker.
This choker is something a little different that I haven't seen in the market but I have a feeling it's gonna be a piece I will get a lot of wear out of. You can pair this with a super bad ass cool girl outfit or go for a more pulled back and simple coat and high neck top combo.
Thanks for reading lovely,
xx
