This post is a little different. The past couple of weeks have been consumed by obsessions and with every obsession comes the desire to tell everything and everyone about them. And because you count as a part of everything and everyone I thought I might share them with you:

First of all, let's just ignore my awkward slightly embarrassing posing in these photos above. I haven't yet mastered the effortlessly cool poses that all bloggers have seemed to have mastered these days. I'll work on it.
It's probably odd the amount of times that I wear something that I am not entirely sure was intended to be a dress, this little striped number being another one of those pieces. I found it in my mothers pile of clothes she was about to throw away. Luckily I looked through and found this! The material is slightly velvet-y which makes it incredible warm and comfortable but considering it wasn't too cold today I slipped on some white H&M sneakers and felt very comfy and chilled.
Vertical strips are scientifically proven to be flattering (not sure if this is true but just go with it) which helped because this dress was quite bulky. I think the jewelry added to what would be a very simple outfit to give a little interest to the outfit.
Because this dress is totally vintage (not that my mum is that old) I can't tell you wear it's from but here are some nice little dresses that will hopefully satisfy
